Q Pilates is a group of boutique, specialist Pilates studios collaboratively run by experienced Brisbane- based musculoskeletal Physiotherapists, passionate about using exercise to rehabilitate injuries and re-establish optimum functioning of the musculoskeletal system. The physiotherapy profession has adopted Pilates’ principles and blended them with their own rehabilitative knowledge to form a more specialised form of Pilates known as “Clinical Pilates”. Based on a foundation of mindful movement, also known as “controlology”, Clinical Pilates offers a form of exercise suitable for all ages and abilities, injuries, chronic conditions and general health and well-being. As quoted by Joseph Pilates himself (the founder of the Pilates Method): “Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit”.

Q Pilates Brisbane Studios offers a range of Pilates classes including clinical Pilates, body tone fitness classes, mat classes and pilates classes for cancer rehabilitation.  We also provide a number of specialized physiotherapy services, including Women’s Health physiotherapy, which encompasses continence management, breast cancer rehabilitation, pre/post-natal care and exercise prescription for osteoporosis and lymphedema.

We have three boutique studios- Indooroopilly, Jindalee and Camp Hill, conveniently located near major shops and public transport. There is easy parking on the street or on site.

The Studios are fully equipped, air conditioned spaces offering a range of individual or group Pilates sessions. Our Pilates studio has reformers, trapeze tables, a wunder chair, balls, bands, pilates circles and weights.  Our Clinical Pilates classes are provided by Pilates-trained Physiotherapists and include individualized programs. These classes are normally claimable under Private Health Rebates for “Physiotherapy”. The Clinical Pilates programs are designed by a physiotherapist following a thorough assessment and real time ultrasound testing and are individualised to achieve the best possible outcome. Our BodyTone, Barre and Matwork classes are conducted by Pilates Instructors and are developed with the Physiotherapists to provide safe, effective, fun and challenging exercises to improve general health and wellbeing.
